Word Wise- July 4, 2016

Word of the Day2

Happy Independence Day! The common celebration for the 4th of July is, of course, fireworks! While studying vocabulary in Language Arts, we learned a synonym for fireworks that I have been using often in place of the simple word fireworks. I almost prefer using this word:

Noun; a bright display of fireworks

My example sentence: It has always been a tradition in my family to see fireworks on the 4th of July, but this year they were cancelled due to the weather.

Thank you for reading! I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday!
