Here is this week’s math problem! This week we are dealing with complex fractions.

Math Problem 20

Use the figure above to find the unit rate per one. These are fractions, so you will have to divide the first fraction by the second one to get the unit rate over one whole. Stuck? Need to check your answers? The answer key is below.

For the first one, the unit rate is 8/15 : 1.

For the second problem, the unit rate is 1 9/16 : 1.

For the third problem, the unit rate is 7 7/8 : 1.
